Eydie is looking so naked!
I stopped by on the way home since Ken was there working.
The backyard debris pile is gone, which is so odd. There is a new pile, mostly
things we are tossing that came from the garage. The guy will hopefully get
that stuff this week. Really, we need to pull some more things from the garage
before he comes since there is still some crap in there. That being said, you
can see an end which is all kinds of good. Perhaps we will rent a truck on
Sunday to get the last load of keep so that all we have left is trash. Hell, I
can load while Ken works on panels. I can load a truck and break things. YAY!
The last two evenings aside from some standard chores have
been rather lazy. We have been catching up on How I Met Your Mother since it
all comes to an end next month and I have to see the finale on the same night
it airs. I am not worried about spoilers, but it is one of those shows I feel I
owe the courtesy of being there when it takes its last breath.
Yesterday was spent on Ancestry.com. I went ahead and signed
up for a 2 week test period and played around a bit. I found some things, but
honestly, I find the site to be poorly laid out and the searching tools are not
idiot friendly, which is what I kind of assumed was the point of using this
site say compared to just searching the net. Oh well. It isn’t a huge deal, but
it is one of those things that kept me occupied for a while, which made for a
quick day.
I have to say I am a little disappointed that Mr. Chin isn’t
using Valentine’s Day as a good way for the kids to practice writing. He didn’t
want the kids to address each card. I know it may be a pain in the ass to pass
them all out, but seriously, it is just another cool way to have them write
things for practice and it is fun! I am only frustrated I am sure because we
went to the trouble of making cute Valentines and Bobby already wrote out names
on a handful with names he could remember the spelling on. Oh well. I guess we
will just send those along with him signing the rest.
Ok, just found the newspaper listing when my folks got their
marriage license. Yay!
