Damn hot pan.
I was cooking last night when my wrist touched the pan I was
cooking on. Now I have a little bow tie looking wound on my wrist complete with
a blister as the center. Holy fuck, ouch.
That was really the worst of my evening, so that isn’t too
bad in the grand scheme of things. Ken took the boys with him to his afternoon
class, which although did mean some quiet time for me, does mean tonight will
be a struggle in terms of catching up on homework for Bobby. Thank goodness his
packet was slightly smaller this week.
Kenway posted a picture of one of our Adams yearbooks to my
Facebook wall. Challenge accepted! I of course dug (when I say dug, I mean
calmly walked over to the shelf and grabbed) up the 2 yearbooks from our time
there and scanned a couple of pics. He has said he will try to find some pics
of me from that time, which would be awesome since not many people had cameras
back then. I always love seeing old pics. I don’t tend to get too freaked out
at looking goofy back then.
With the boss back today, it is very probable that it will
be an annoying day.
I took my need for opinion and feedback to Facebook
yesterday, looking for information on what would be a good form of Martial Arts
for Dax. It sounds as though Kung Fu is our best bet, but I will also be
visiting multiple locations. So many people were helpful and it was really
cool. I had private messages of people who contacted places they knew and now
all I have to do is mention their name. I am quite excited now. Even Stephanie
said that Sabrina wants to do the class, too, and when I mentioned this to Dax
he was thrilled. I think this will be a fun activity all around. Who knows,
maybe they have something that I can do it with him?
We have had Lycos wear pull-ups the last two nights. The
first night worked well. She did fill it, but it meant she didn’t wake up
soaked in piss. We are going to go look at some of the washable dog diapers
this weekend, but for now, the pull-ups work fine. I know she was whimpery this
morning and Ken got up with her, but I don’t know what went down. Poor pup.
