One document.
There is one document holding everything up. It is the same
document that keeps getting fucked up. Hopefully it was resent or being resent
this morning for signatures. Everything else is signed. I just want this whole
thing done.
We went through the boxes of books under our bed. We are
getting rid of quite a few. We boxed up the rest and got more items cleared
from our old room. It is disturbing how much the house has shifted. We noticed
cracks that have gotten larger and the one door frame is really tweaked.
Hopefully when we do the closet there it won’t be too big a deal. We also determined
we are going to most likely replace the window in there.
We put a fan in the bedroom along with opening the windows
from the bottom instead of the top which helped greatly. The next thing we need
to do in order to increase comfort is we are going to move the bed from the
wall a little bit and stuff it with pillows. This is how it was in our real
room so hopefully this will give Ken the extra 6 inches I have been using now.
Other than that, there is not much to report. I am hoping
for the magical call that says Escrow is closed. Until then, I wait.
